How to remove stains from fabric with Vanish

Vanish fabric cleaners are designed for the everyday as well as tough-to-treat stains, but to increase your chances of success at full stain removal, knowing how to tackle them correctly is invaluable. There are three ways you can use Vanish to remove stains:

Pre-treat:

For stains on silk and woollen items, follow these steps:

 

  1. Pour 2ml of Vanish liquid directly onto the stain and gently rub.
  2. Leave the product in contact with the stain for 10 mins max.

After pre-treatment, wash as usual or rinse thoroughly.

For juice, deodorant and masala stains on linen and velvet clothes, follow these soak steps for best results:

 

  1. Pour 100ml onto the stained item, gently rub and then soak in 4L of water.
  2. Soak colours for 1 hour max.
  3. Soak whites for 6 hours max.

After soaking, wash as usual or rinse thoroughly.

For best results on stains, rub stain before rinsing.

In-wash:

For maintenance of your garments and to keep them looking at their best, it’s advisable to add a dose or scoop of Vanish to every wash.

 

  1. For tough and dried in stains, apply 100ml of gel.
  2. For normal stains use 50ml of gel.

Dose detergent as normal.

Just add one dose in every wash.
