How to remove makeup stains from clothing
To remove makeup stains from cotton, denim or other washable fabrics, a good soak will do the trick. Say goodbye to foundation, powder or eyeliner stains with Vanish Oxi Action Liquid. Simply follow these instructions:
RECOMMENDED
INSTRUCTIONS
- Mix 60ml of liquid into 4 liters of warm water (40°C max).
- Soak colours for 1 hour max.
- Soak whites for 6 hours max.
- After soaking, wash as usual or rinse thoroughly.
- For best results on stains, rub before rinsing.
- Lifts stains, keeps colours bright and removes odours.
Tips on tackling makeup stains
Air dry only: As with most stains, once you’ve washed the garment it’s better to allow it to air dry than machine-drying it. This is because machine-driers will cause excess makeup to set into the fabric – making it much harder to remove stains the second time around.
General advice
- Please refer to the packaging for specific product usage and advice.
- KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN AND PETS. Store the product only in the original container and always fasten the lid.
- Do not expose product to direct sunlight.
- Before use check if colours may bleed by testing a hidden area of the fabric.
- For best results it may be necessary to repeat parts of the process.
