How to get deodorant stains out of shirts

The secret to removing deodorant stains from your shirts is to pre-treat, soak or wash with a stain remover. Like sweat stains, deodorant stains can be stubborn, so it’s Vanish Oxi Action Liquid It’s designed to odours from deep within the fibres and remove stubborn stains, even in a cold 30°C wash. 

1. Pre-treat the stain by applying 2 ml of Vanish Oxi Action Liquid and rub into the stain using the top of the dosage cap. 
2. Leave the gel to soak into the stain for a maximum of 10 minutes. 
3. After soaking, wash in the machine as normal. Use your usual detergent and add a 50 ml dose of Vanish Liquid.  

Removing tough stains from black shirts can result in colour fading, so it’s important to use a stain remover that’s safe to use on dark colours and prevents colour transfer. To get deodorant stains out of black shirts, use the Vanish Oxi Action Powder for best results. 

1. Mix 10g of powder with equal amounts of water.  
2. Apply the mix on the stain and rub as needed. 
3. Leave the paste on the stain for a maximum of 5 minutes.  
4. Add another scoop in the wash with your normal detergent.
